Lib Dems call for Green Tax Switch

Cardiff South and Penarth Lib Dems are backing the Liberal Democrat Green Tax Switch campaign.

Dominic Hannigan, spokesperson for Cardiff South and Penarth Lib Dems said:

"We must all do more to save the environment. New figures released this week showed that Cardiff residents produce nearly three times more Carbon Dioxide per person than the global average.

Everyone has to do their bit to stop global warming. The Lib Dems think those who behave in the most polluting way should pay more than those who switch to green living. Under Lib Dem plans people can switch and save - it is as simple as that.

We need to take action now to save our planet - it is time for the green tax switch."
