Shadow Liberal Democrat Health Secretary Steve Webb MP recently visited Cardiff South and Penarth. Steve joined local campaigner Dominic Hannigan and Welsh Liberal Democrat Health spokesperson Jenny Randerson AM on a visit to Cardiff East Ambulance Station in Rumney.

Dominic Hannigan said "it was great that Steve could come and visit us in Cardiff South and Penarth, I really learned a lot from what the Ambulance Service personnel had to tell me."

"The Welsh Liberal Democrats are committed to providing a world class emergency health service and this visit gave me an insight into what the Assembly Government should be doing to make this happen."

Jenny Randerson AM said "this was a great opportunity for one of our youngest and brightest candidates to build his knowledge base on health issues and to learn from one of the most impressive Lib Dems around."
