Dominic Hannigan is fighting to save local Post Offices

Cardiff South and Penarth Campaigner Dominic Hannigan has criticised the government's decision to close thousands of post offices. The Labour Government have announced that between 2500 and 3000 Post Offices may close.

Dominic Hannigan said "The Labour Government have got what they wanted after deliberately running down the Post Office network by withdrawing things such as pensions, TV Licenses and Passports from the Post Office's business."

"People who rely on their local Post Office are often from the poorest parts of our society and it is these people who Labour have let down again."

"The Lib Dems put forward a plan to protect Post Offices but this was blocked by Labour. How do they expect people to trust them to protect our communities and local services again?"
